Meet Founder

DapoerPeg was founded by Peggy Ng, a culinary enthusiast with a deep passion for Indonesian culture and cuisine. Peg is dedicated to sharing the rich flavors and traditions of Indonesia with the world, ensuring that each dish is crafted with expertise in traditional cooking methods and high-quality ingredients. Her goal is to provide an authentic representation of Indonesian cuisine, making it accessible to everyone.

Peg’s culinary journey began in 2011 with the launch of WarungIndo, a food stall at Clifford Center. In 2012, she expanded her reach by opening WarungIndo food shop in Tampines, further introducing Indonesian dishes to the local community. Through DapoerPeg, Peg continues to offer a delightful dining experience operating Nasi & Mie located in 20 Cecil Street #01-07, blending the rich heritage of Indonesian cuisine with innovative local flavors. The dining offer ceased in end 2025. Today, we continue serving our customer through cloud kitchen and offer delivery service.

Tracing the Origins of DapoerPeg

DapoerPeg’s journey began two decades ago in Indonesia, where a cherished family recipe was the heart of a small food stall in Kepulauan Riau. This legacy of crafting authentic Indonesian dishes has been passed down through generations, laying the foundation for what would evolve into DapoerPeg.

The journey in Singapore began with a deep passion for sharing the diverse flavors and rich culinary traditions of Indonesia, using only the finest ingredients. WarungIndo was founded to offer comforting Indonesian food in the Central Business District’s food court in 2011. As the business grew, so did the desire to offer even more – expanding menus and bringing delicious dishes to communities resided at Eastern Singapore in 2012.

Embracing innovation, DapoerPeg was incorporated in 2024 to adds a modern twist to traditional Indonesian fare, blending classic recipes with contemporary culinary techniques. This fusion enhances the flavors while preserving the authenticity of each dish. As a recent growing presence in the online restaurant space, DapoerPeg is expanding its operations to include food shop locations in CBD, 20 Cecil Street #01-07. As DapoerPeg continues to grow and innovate, we ceased the food shop operation and move the kitchen to cloud base to offer deliver service.
